Unholy Cannoli (Boozy Cannoli)

Unholy Cannoli

You will love this deliciously sinful and deconstructed Cannoli with Amaretto custard cream, chocolate, and pistachios. This recipe features air-fried cannoli chips.  No deep fryer, and you don’t have to worry about those crispy cannoli shells getting soggy from sitting too long.  Unholy Cannolis are easy to make, and fun to serve.

This is the quintessential Italian dessert, the dessert that will make everyone feel Italian.  Do you know the most interesting Italian Cussworthy expressions to accompany your Masturbaker gourmet desserts?  In service of our smart and ever-learning ‘Cuss’tomers, we are sharing some of our favorites:

Rompicoglioni – Ball breaker

Rompicoglioni is someone that bothers, or annoys you.

Faccia di culo – Assface

Faccia di culo literally means your face looks like an ass, but in Italian, it is not as bad as it sounds. It actually means you have a lot of nerve and are very direct.

Non dire cazzate –  Don’t talk bullshit!

Cazzate, minchiate, puttanate, stronzate are all good terms for Bullshit!

Porca puttana – Bloody hell, Dammit

When you are truly pissed, you can yell Porca puttana. which literally translates to “pig slut”.  How perfect is that?

Bacha ma culo – Kiss my Ass

—–

With such an amazing dessert- your guests may Pass on the Sass– and instead, say Grazie! (thank you), or even, Sei una dea sexy (You are a sexy Goddess!)

Unholy Cannoli Note:

If you are making a traditional Cannoli, you will want to shape dough circles around dowel sticks, and air fry the shells.  For the Ameretto Custard cream, you will want an additional 1 Tbsp Flour, and 1 Tbsp Corn starch so the filling holds more firmly in the tube-shape Cannoli shell.

Non-Alcoholic version:  If you want a more Holy Cannoli(no alcohol), leave out the Amaretto, and add 1/4 tsp, Almond extract instead
