This dessert tastes like ‘Drunk and Debauchery’- DD. You will need big cups for this one!
Seriously – Cake, Pudding, Rum-soaked Pineapple, Whipped cream, and Coconut- Obscene! Delicious on a warm summer day.

Double D Parfait
Yellow Cake, Coconut Rum-soaked pineapple, Pudding, and Whipped Topping layered into a delicious Parfait

Materials
Yellow Cake Mix and ingredients required on the box
Pineapple
- ⅔ cup fresh crushed Pineapple
- ½ cup Malibu Coconut Rum
Pudding Mix
- 5.1 oz Vanilla Jello Pudding
- 2 ½ cups milk
Whipped Dairy Topping (16 oz)
Sweetened Coconut flakes (toasted for 4 minutes)
Instructions
Start with clear bowls, or glasses - Parfaits should be pretty
Bake cake and let it cool
Prepare Vanilla pudding with 1/2 cup less milk than the pudding recipe calls for - refrigerate
Soak Crushed Pineapple in Malibu Rum
Assemble Parfait
- Place a small cake square in the bottom of the glass
- Let fluid drain from the pineapple and layer rum-soaked pineapple on the cake layer
- Add 1-2 teaspoons of chilled vanilla pudding
- Add a layer of whipped dairy topping
- Add a thin coat of toasted Coconut
- Add the next layer of cake, then pineapple, and pudding- refrigerate
- Just before serving, top with whipping cream and Toasted Coconut
- Garnish with a small piece of pineapple on top

This boozy trifle is so refreshing and decadent when served chilled. Keep your parfait refrigerated until right before serving, and then add the final whipped dairy topping and garnishes
Mix it Up
You can make this dessert family-friendly by eliminating the Rum and using plain crushed fresh pineapple
You can substitute crumbled Nilla Wafers for the Toasted Coconut
