Slutty Brownie

How could the Cuss Kitchen be complete without a “Slutty Brownie”?  The Urban Dictionary describes this 3 layer brownie as a “chocolatey froth-pile of satisfaction”.  The recipe first appeared in 2011 on the Kevin and Amanda blog, and within a month was renamed by the Londoner.  “They’re called Slutty Brownies because they are Oh So Easy…and more than a little bit filthy.”  In any case, who can’t resist a “chocolatey froth pile”- and these brownies are Bitchn’!

I like to think of this recipe as the Slutty Express…

Mix It Up:  Fun Variations on a delicious recipe (3 Layer Brownie)

“A little more lusty”:  Add salted caramel sauce on the brownie top as you serve

“You Filthy Animal”:  Serve with your favorite vanilla bean ice cream and hot fudge

“Slutty – Nutty”:  Top with Pecans

Perfect Pairing:

Two stemmed martini glasses with dark (almost black) crumbs around the rims, each filled with a dark chocolate brown, creamy opaque liquid. The martini glasses are sitting on a black table, surrounded by coffee beans, a few green leaves and blurred burgundy cloth napkins in the background.Amp up the Slutty with a French Kiss  There is nothing, and I mean nothing like a chocolate martini. This deliciously sophisticated version takes it to the next level, combining dark chocolate liqueur with Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur – a sweet infusion of raspberries, blackberries, black currants and Madagascar vanilla. Add to that crisp vodka and a hint of chilled espresso, and you have a chic and flavorful martini like no other.
